1. What we do

We source used vehicles from Korean auctions and showrooms and arrange their purchase, inspection, export and shipping on your behalf. We act as your agent and service provider for that process. We are not the manufacturer, and outside a direct sale of a vehicle we own we are not the seller of record at the Korean auction.

Availability, prices and specifications come from auction and showroom sources and change constantly. A listing on this site is an invitation to enquire, not a binding offer, and a vehicle may be sold, withdrawn or repriced before your order is confirmed.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into contracts. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us, for keeping your password confidential, and for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, is used for fraud, or is required to be closed by law.

3. Prices, currency and estimates

Vehicle prices originate in Korean won. Prices shown in other currencies are converted using an indicative exchange rate and may include a display markup; they are for guidance only. The amount you actually owe is the amount stated in your order and invoice.

Import, shipping, customs and landed-cost figures shown on the site are estimates based on the information available at the time. They are not quotations and do not bind us. Duties, taxes, port charges, registration fees and any other cost imposed in the destination country are your responsibility and may differ from the estimate.

Obvious pricing or specification errors do not oblige us to sell at the erroneous figure; we will tell you and let you cancel.

4. Orders, deposits and payment

An order is created when you submit it through the site, but it becomes binding only when we confirm it after receiving your deposit and completing the required identity checks. We may decline any order.

Payments are made by bank transfer to the account we give you, or from your wallet balance where that is enabled. You are responsible for transfer fees and for any currency loss. We start work on your order only after funds are received and confirmed.

Our service fee is stated on the site and in your order. Auction purchases are made in a competitive process; a bid may fail, in which case we will agree an alternative vehicle or return the amounts we hold for you, less costs already incurred on your instruction.

5. Vehicle condition and inspection

All vehicles are used. Photographs, mileage, accident diagrams, auction grades and inspection reports come from the auction house, the seller or a third-party inspector. We pass this information on in good faith but do not independently verify it and do not warrant its accuracy or completeness.

Where the order flow includes an inspection step, you must review the inspection result and approve or reject it within the time we tell you. Your approval confirms that you accept the vehicle in its reported condition. If you do not respond in time, we may hold or cancel the order.

Vehicles are sold as-is. Ordinary wear, minor cosmetic defects, and anything disclosed in the inspection or auction report are not grounds for rejection after approval.

6. Shipping, customs and delivery

Shipping schedules, arrival dates and clearance times are estimates and depend on carriers, ports and authorities we do not control. Delay alone does not entitle you to cancel or to compensation.

You are responsible for confirming that the vehicle may lawfully be imported and registered in your country, and for all import duties, taxes, inspections, storage and demurrage there. Risk and cost of local clearance, storage and registration are yours from the moment the vehicle arrives at the destination port.

If you fail to clear or collect a vehicle, we may charge the storage and handling we incur and, after notice, sell it to cover the amounts you owe.

7. Cancellation and refunds

Before we confirm your order and commit funds, you may cancel and we will return what we hold, less any cost already incurred on your instruction and any non-refundable third-party charge.

Once a vehicle has been purchased at auction or from a showroom on your behalf, the purchase cannot be reversed and the amounts paid are non-refundable except where we agree otherwise in writing or where the law requires a refund. Any refund we do make is paid to the source of the original payment.

8. Your obligations

Give us complete and truthful information and documents, including identity documents required for export and customs. Providing false documents is a breach of these terms and may be a criminal offence.

Do not use the site to break the law, to evade sanctions or import restrictions, or on behalf of a third party you have not disclosed to us.

9. Acceptable use of the site

You may use the site to browse and buy for your own purposes. You may not scrape, crawl, bulk-download, republish or resell our listings, images, prices or data; probe or interfere with the site or its security; or use it in any way that disrupts the service for others. We may block access that does.

All content on the site — text, images, layout, logos and data compilations — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. Nothing here grants you a licence to it beyond ordinary personal use.

10. Third parties

Auction houses, inspectors, shipping lines, customs brokers, banks and delivery agents are independent parties. Where we arrange them for you we do so as your agent, and we are not responsible for their acts, omissions or delays beyond selecting them with reasonable care. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and are not endorsements.

11. Disclaimer

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of listings, availability, prices, estimates and reports. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business, use or data, however caused.

Our total liability arising out of or in connection with an order is limited to the amounts you actually paid us in respect of that order. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

13. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these terms, from information or documents you gave us that were false or incomplete, or from your failure to meet the import, customs or registration requirements of your country.

14. Force majeure

We are not liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including war, sanctions, strikes, port closures, extreme weather, epidemics, carrier failure, and acts of government or customs authorities.

15. Changes and termination

We may change these terms; the revised version takes effect when published on this page and applies to orders placed after publication. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Dokan Mazad is established, and the competent courts of that place have exclusive jurisdiction, unless a mandatory consumer law in your country of residence says otherwise. Before starting proceedings, contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve the matter directly.

If any provision is held invalid, the rest remains in force.
